'Africa is a beautiful collection of some of the best songs to not only come from the continent, but also songs that were directly inspired by African music. Artists such as Dead Can Dance, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and the Johannesburg African Choir lend their enormous talents to a collection that reflects the many sides of the genre. The compositions by David Poore (there are nine overall) are the highlights of the album, with a beautiful African choir supplying the wonderful harmonies. This is an excellent album that reflects a small portion of what the continent's music scene has to offer.'
